WP Site Porter and wpsiteporter.com process limited data to deliver the product.
What we collect
- Purchase & billing: handled by Paddle as merchant of record (name, email, payment details, invoices).
- License checks: your license key, site URL, and plugin version when the plugin verifies activation or checks for Pro updates.
- Usage heartbeat (optional): about once per day the plugin may send site URL, plugin/WP/PHP versions, and free/Pro status so we can understand installs. Disable anytime under WP Site Porter → Settings.
- Google Drive OAuth broker: temporary tokens during one-click connect; refresh tokens remain on your WordPress site.
- Affiliates: referral cookies and commission records if you join the affiliate program.
Retention
License and activation records are kept while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for support and fraud prevention.
